The yarn, materials and engineering rules come from the NEXUS CORE in Singapore. Lay-up, sewing and testing are done in Rotterdam, so every sling is built to the same specification and proven to the same protocol.

Franklin Offshore Europe works from the RDM base in Rotterdam, supplying the offshore construction, energy and marine industries across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Alongside NEXUS synthetics, FOE manufactures heavy-lift Flemish-Lock® and cable-laid slings and provides inspection, load testing, mooring installation, engineering and fabrication.

Hank lay-up, sewing and full-sling testing on test beds up to 900 metric tons, from CORE-supplied yarn. Structural lock stitching and hard-wearing ID tags, sewn by trained NEXUS sewers to the CORE specification, then on to 100% proof load testing.
Project reference
Two matched pairs of NXRS 1940 eye-eye slings for a European customer, carrying the jacket after upending. Each pair within 4 mm on measured length.
