Every stage that decides strength, length and life is done in-house, to one NEXUS standard. Yarn and materials come from the CORE, so every sling starts from the same place, wherever it is built.
Process
Five stages, the same for every sling, whatever its size.

UHMWPE filament from an audited, ESG-compliant supply chain, each lot checked against supplier certification before release.

Twisted in-house on best-in-class machinery and tested beyond industry practice. Superior twisted yarn engineered for strength and consistency.

Yarn wound as a continuous parallel-laid hank under controlled, consistent tension: tight length tolerance and uniform elongation, so matched slings stay matched.

Double-bonded NEXOS (PES) body cover as standard, with NEXOS HD hybrid HMPE/PA at the bearing points. Full HMPE covers, sand filters and other options to suit the job.

Structural lock stitching and hard-wearing ID tags carrying the sling’s full identification, sewn by trained NEXUS sewers, then on to 100% proof load testing.
Where it’s made
The CORE in Singapore supplies the yarn, the materials and the engineering rules. Slings are built at the CORE and at Franklin Offshore Europe in Rotterdam, to the same specification and the same test protocol.
NX-98 filament, NX-T110 yarn and materials, engineering and design rules, full-scale testing and ultra-large slings.
Franklin Offshore Singapore →Hank lay-up, sewing, full-sling testing, inspection and certification, from CORE-supplied yarn.
Franklin Offshore Europe →Weight, rigging, hook and trunnion sizes. We'll come back with a sling drawn to it.
