What the CORE does

Under one roof in Singapore

Materials
NX-98 UHMWPE filament from an audited, ESG-compliant supply chain, and NX-T110 yarn twisted in-house. Every NEXUS sling, wherever it is built, starts from this yarn.
Engineering
NEX-IQ, our in-house sling design engine. Every design runs through the same engineering rules, so every answer is consistent.
Manufacturing
Parallel-laid cores, covers and sewing, including ultra-large slings made in-house.
Testing
2,000+ metric tons in-house test bed capacity. Every sling proof load tested before dispatch. Yarn and component testing on the CORE laboratory Instron.

Proven here, before it lifts there

Franklin Offshore has been a rigging and mooring specialist since 1985, with offices across Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Europe and the Americas. NEXUS slings for the heaviest lifts are made and proof loaded at the CORE, on a test bed long enough to take them at working length.

The CORE supplies the yarn, materials and engineering rules to Franklin Offshore Europe, so slings made in Rotterdam are built to the same specification and proven to the same protocol.
