Subsea structure installation

An NXRS 2620 round sling rigged to a subsea structure during installation, seen from the ROV. The eyes were customised to suit the narrow ROV-operated HK14 hook. HMPE does not corrode and is close to neutrally buoyant, so the rigging adds almost nothing to the structure’s in-water weight and nothing to its long-term maintenance.

Subsea spool lift, choker hitch

A pair of NXRS 250 round slings choked around a coated subsea pipe spool. The soft sling body grips the spool without cutting into the coating, so there is no steel on the pipe and no coating damage to repair before it goes subsea. Proof-loaded to 100 metric tons.
